Brilliant is a leading Cairns Technology Provider for IT, Networking and Print. 

We have been servicing Cairns for 35 years and our local team delivers managed technology services to our large range of business, education & local government clients.

We are seeking the services of a permanent full time Photocopier Service Tech with at least 5 years experience in the industry.

Knowledge of Canon Print Management software such as Uniflow & Therefore would be ideal but not necessary

The Job

  • On-site repair of A4 & A3 MFDs
  • Client contact for remote fault diagnostic and resolution
  • Copier Run up, Delivery, installation & client training
  • Applying IT skills/knowledge in Network environments including print and scan software
  • Travel to remote locations for repairs and installations
  • Working within a team environment to deliver department KPIs & targets

The Person

The ideal candidate will be an experienced technician who is efficient and knowledgeable, they will have achieved industry or vendor training and understand networking.

Knowledge of Wide Format Printers would be desirable but not necessary.

The successful applicant should possess –

  • Good IT skills and networking knowledge
  • Experience in both mono and colour printers/copiers
  • Strong ability to diagnose and trouble-shoot technical problems
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Neat personal presentation and be well organised
  • Current manual drivers licence
  • Honesty, enthusiasm & reliability
  • Prior experience working with Canon devises would be preferred however not essential
  • It is also desirable the you hold a restricted electrical licence
